Rationalizing Water Consumption
(Water Efficiency Label)
2017年12月19日，SASO宣布从2018年2月1日开始执行技术法规 (MA-156-16-03-06)，对下述产品强制执行节水认证。制造商和进口商需要在产品上粘贴节水标签标明水效。
On Dec 19, 2017, SASO announced that the mandatory application of the technical regulation No. (MA-156-16-03-06) for water consumption rationalization tools will start on 1st January 2018, manufacturers and importers will be required to put a label showing the rate of rationalization of water consumption for each of the products included in the regulation: shower heads, taps / shower mixers, taps / mixers for public and private toilets and kitchens, taps / bidet mixers, taps / mixers for shattaf (toilet spray), western water closets with dual flush / single flush, and urinal with flush system.

Remark: Turnaround time will take 2-3 weeks (this does not include the time for testing)
3 Testing 测试 – Testing is required if test report is invalid or unavailable. 如无有效报告，需送样测试。
3.1 Testing Turnaround Time 测试时间 2-3 weeks
3.2 Sample 样品
- Toilet: 1pc/model + 10pcs of cutting piece with size 10cm x 10cm + drawing of each model
- Faucet: 3pcs/model for main testing model + 1pc/model for additional model
4 Labelling 标签
4.1 The water effciency label should be printed in the required format 需要按规定格式以及尺寸制作
4.2 The label should be affixed on the product and package 需要粘贴在产品以及外箱上
Remark:
- Test report should not exceed one year from the date of submitting the application. 测试报告日期在提交申请之日不得超过一年。
- Validity of certificate 证书有效期: 1 year
